Why Epoxy

More Than
a Coating.

Epoxy flooring transforms a bare concrete slab into a surface that's durable, chemical-resistant, easy to clean, and genuinely beautiful. Done right, an epoxy floor will outlast the concrete beneath it.

The key word is done right. Most epoxy failures come from one cause: inadequate surface preparation. We grind and profile every slab to the correct surface profile before we ever open a bucket of coating.

Systems

Coating Systems.

We offer multiple systems to match your goals, budget, and the demands of your space.

Full Broadcast Flake

The most popular residential system. Vinyl flakes broadcast into wet epoxy create a slip-resistant, decorative surface in dozens of color blends. Topcoated with polyaspartic or polyurea for maximum durability.

Metallic Epoxy

Swirling metallic pigments suspended in epoxy create a dramatic, one-of-a-kind floor with depth and movement. No two floors are identical. Premium decorative choice for showrooms, bars, and high-end garages.

Solid Color Epoxy

Clean, professional, and easy to maintain. Solid color epoxy hides stains well and gives a polished look to any space. Available in a wide range of colors with a gloss or matte finish.

Polyaspartic Topcoat

A fast-cure, UV-stable topcoat applied over epoxy base coats. Superior resistance to hot tire pickup, scratches, and UV yellowing. Required for outdoor-adjacent areas and any system where longevity is the priority.

Quartz & Sand Systems

Quartz aggregate broadcast systems create maximum slip-resistance — ideal for commercial kitchens, pool areas, restrooms, and any high-wet-traffic space. Seamless, sanitary, and chemical-resistant.

Basement Systems

Moisture mitigation primer + epoxy coating designed specifically for below-grade slabs. We test for vapor transmission before we coat and apply the right vapor barrier system to prevent future failures.

Our Process

How It
Works.

01
Free On-Site Estimate

We come to your location, inspect the slab, test for moisture, assess any cracks, and give you a detailed, accurate quote with no hidden fees.

02
Surface Grinding & Prep

The most important step. We grind the concrete to create a mechanical bond profile. Cracks and imperfections are repaired. Expansion joints are addressed.

03
Primer / Base Coat

Professional-grade epoxy primer penetrates the concrete and creates the foundation layer. Applied at correct temperature and humidity for maximum adhesion.

04
Decorative Layer

Flakes are broadcast, metallic pigments are applied, or solid color topcoat is laid — depending on your chosen system.

05
Topcoat & Cure

A durable polyaspartic or polyurea topcoat is applied. We walk you through care instructions. Light foot traffic in 24 hrs; vehicles in 72 hrs.

Why Diamond Grinding Matters

Acid etching only opens the concrete's pores. Diamond grinding creates a true mechanical bond — the same surface profile used in industrial and commercial applications. This is why our floors don't peel.

The #1 cause is inadequate surface prep. If the contractor acid-etches only instead of grinding, the coating has nothing to mechanically grip. Moisture vapor from an untested slab is the second leading cause. We address both before applying any coating.
A standard 2–3 car garage typically takes 1–2 days. Larger or more complex jobs are scoped individually. We'll give you a clear timeline during your free estimate.
Light foot traffic is generally safe within 24 hours. We recommend waiting 72 hours before driving on it. Full chemical cure takes 7 days — avoid spills of harsh chemicals before then.
Standard epoxy can be susceptible to hot tire pickup. That's why we apply a polyaspartic or polyurea topcoat on all garage floor systems — these topcoats are 4x harder than epoxy and fully resistant to hot tire transfer.
Depends on the condition of the existing coating. If it's peeling or poorly adhered, it needs to come off first. We'll assess this during the free estimate and give you an honest recommendation.
Pricing varies by floor size, condition, and system chosen. As a rough guide, a 2-car garage typically ranges from $1,500–$4,500 for a premium system with flake and polyaspartic topcoat. We provide a detailed quote after the on-site assessment.
